Hi Diogo, what inspired you to create Jammin’?

I have always loved music, and for a couple of years, I studied guitar. One of my favorite things to do was play guitar with my brother. When he moved to London, playing together became almost impossible. Even when we visit each other, catching up on life leaves little time for music.

I realized there wasn’t a good service that allowed us to continue making music together, so I decided to build one. Jammin’ is not only a solution to the problem my brother and I faced but also to challenges that musicians around the world experience.

Musicians often face financial challenges, with their success often depending on being in the right place at the right time and surrounded by the right people. For many, these barriers can seem insurmountable, but Jammin’ aims to change that. By providing a Digital Audio Workstation, the platform allows musicians to collaborate and create music with others from anywhere in the world. Beyond that, Jammin’ fosters a dynamic community where artists can showcase their talents, connect with like-minded individuals, and attract potential clients or collaborators. At its core, Jammin’ is about breaking down these barriers, creating meaningful connections, and empowering musicians to turn their passion into a sustainable livelihood, no matter where they are.

Can you tell us more about the team behind Jammin’?

Right now, I am the only member working in Jammin’ full-time. As the founder, I bring nearly a decade of experience in Product Design, having worked with both early-stage startups and well-established companies. My background helps us focus on building an intuitive, user-centric experience for musicians. We are also actively seeking to expand our team, particularly in technical areas, and we're excited about bringing on a CTO who shares our vision of revolutionizing remote music collaboration. We value passion, creativity, and a deep understanding of both technology and music—qualities that form the basis of our growing team.

How does Jammin’ differ from industry standards? What makes it unique?

We do have competitors in the DAW space, but no one is putting the same emphasis on community as we are. At Jammin’, our priority is to create opportunities for musicians to make money. They are the reason we’re doing this.

Our platform isn’t just about making music; it’s about creating a space where musicians can thrive, showcase their work, and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Key Features from Jammin’s Pitch Deck
The music industry has seen massive changes over the years. What trends do you see shaping the future for amateur and professional musicians?

The music industry hasn’t transformed much for amateur musicians in decades. While services like Spotify revolutionized music consumption, they didn’t solve the core issues for musicians themselves.

The problem remains: talented individuals often miss the right opportunities because of timing, location, or lack of connections. It’s estimated that 15% of the global population with internet access can play at least one musical instrument. Imagine the untapped potential if these musicians had the tools to connect, create, and grow.

Jammin’ addresses this by providing a platform where musicians can collaborate, learn, and showcase their work globally, breaking down traditional barriers.

At what stage is the Jammin’ platform currently? Do you plan to raise investment to scale the project?

Jammin' is currently at the stage where the platform is live with an early user base, and we're seeing musicians engage in real-time collaborations. We recently launched on Product Hunt to great reception, and we've been steadily onboarding new users who are passionate about music collaboration. We're now looking to scale and bring more features to life, which includes making the platform even more robust and community-driven. To achieve this, we do plan to raise investment to help scale the project. While this is our first venture raising funds specifically for Jammin', I've been part of startup environments where fundraising was key, and I'm confident we have the story, product, and (in the near future) team to appeal to investors who are passionate about music and technology.

What is your long-term vision for Jammin’?

We want Jammin’ to become the go-to platform for musicians. Whether you want to jam casually, record a masterpiece, or perform a live gig, Jammin’ will have you covered.

Our vision includes offering experiences like:

• High-quality classes for musicians to improve their skills.

• Seamless collaborations with other artists around the world.

• Gigs and live concerts, where musicians can perform and fans can stream festivals in high quality from the comfort of their homes.

We aim to make Jammin’ a central hub for all things music, where creativity meets opportunity.
