Have you launched any startups before IPNOTE? What inspired you to start IPNOTE?

IPNOTE is my first entrepreneurial endeavor, and its concept was inspired by my prior professional experience. I spent over ten years working as a patent attorney, primarily with tech companies and startups. During this time, I realized that existing IP management solutions were neither accessible nor efficient for smaller businesses. The process was often costly, complicated, and time-consuming, discouraging startups and SMBs from protecting their innovations

One specific case stuck with me—a friend of mine, after nearly a decade of building their startup, was hit with a costly legal battle. Someone had registered their trademark in Europe and the U.S., blocking them from major markets. It was a preventable issue that highlighted the gaps in the current system.

That experience reinforced my determination to create a solution for businesses that lacked access to extensive legal teams but still needed robust IP protection. IPNOTE was born to make intellectual property management simpler, more affordable, and accessible to innovators worldwide.

What sets IPNOTE apart from other platforms in the intellectual property industry?

IPNOTE combines advanced AI technology with a user-centric design to address the inefficiencies of traditional IP management. Unlike fragmented tools that require businesses to juggle multiple systems, IPNOTE centralizes all essential tasks—searching, monitoring, analyzing, and protecting IP assets—on one platform.

Another distinguishing feature is our AI assistant. It understands natural language, converts user requests into actionable tasks, and connects them with the best tools or experts to fulfill those needs. This level of automation saves businesses valuable time and resources while ensuring accuracy and consistency across jurisdictions.

Our platform also emphasizes transparency and cost-efficiency, helping businesses save up to five times on IP management costs compared to traditional methods.

Do you have co-founders?

IPNOTE was co-founded by two people with a long history of working together. I’ve been a patent attorney for over 10 years, and my co-founder was actually one of my very first clients. Our journey started back when I was still a student. I drafted his first patent for free because he was a graduate student trying to protect his innovative solution. This long-standing partnership and shared experience in navigating the challenges of IP management inspired us to build IPNOTE.

What trends do you see shaping the intellectual property market?

Two major trends are reshaping the industry: the centralization of IP management tasks into unified platforms and the integration of artificial intelligence.

Businesses are increasingly looking for comprehensive solutions that eliminate inefficiencies. Platforms like IPNOTE address this need by consolidating all IP operations in one place, enabling users to manage their portfolios seamlessly across 180+ countries.

AI is another game-changer. While its use in IP is still in its early stages, the potential is immense. From predictive analytics to smarter portfolio management, AI can significantly enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. At IPNOTE, we’re at the forefront of this trend, developing tools that proactively assist users in managing their IP.

What’s your long-term vision for IPNOTE?

Our goal is to build the ultimate ecosystem for intellectual property management. We envision a platform where businesses of all sizes can handle every aspect of IP—from conducting prior art searches to managing patents and trademarks—intuitively and efficiently.

We’re also focused on making IP management more affordable. Traditional methods rely heavily on large legal teams and intermediaries, driving up costs unnecessarily. By leveraging automation and intelligent recommendations, IPNOTE dramatically reduces these expenses while maintaining high standards of service.

Ultimately, we want to empower businesses to safeguard their innovations without getting bogged down by complexity or cost. With IPNOTE, managing intellectual property should feel as intuitive as having a quick chat with a trusted advisor.

Do you plan to raise funding for IPNOTE? What will your strategy be for engaging investors?

We are currently running a crowdfunding campaign to scale our marketing efforts. Once we achieve full profitability—iPNOTE is already operationally profitable—we’ll consider raising funds from venture capital firms to support further scaling.
